Redevelopment of 11,000 square feet of office and warehouse space White River Junction, Vermont, on the site of the former Lyric Theater, the region’s first movie house. Project undertaken in 2008 in partnership with filmmaker and Tip Top building owner Matt Bucy.

35 Railroad Row White River Junction, VT
This LEED-certified 18,000 square foot four-story mixed-use building was completed in 2009. It is a contemporary urban loft-styled building designed to complement its neighbor, 15 Railroad Row, to the north. Apartment lofts with balconies overlooking Veteran’s Park are programmed into the design. On-site structured parking is on the ground floor.

Windsor Main Street Windsor, VT
Feasibility study for the redevelopment of a 1.6 acre vacant site along Main Street in Historic Windsor. The proposed mixed use project of 22,000 square feet included 15 apartments, both affordable and live/work spaces.
Family Housing
In 1991 Bittinger was appointed by Governor Judd Gregg to serve on the State's Council on Affordable Housing. Since that time, Bittinger has developed more than 150 affordable units.

Romano Place West Lebanon, NH
This 16-unit affordable housing project was built in partnership with Lebanon Housing Authority as phase two to the forty year old Romano Place. The in-fill project was designed to complement the urban fabric surrounding property. The high-performance, super-insulated buildings include solar hot water resulting in fuel bill savings in excess of 50% of Energy Star standard construction.

Windsor State Lands Windsor, VT
Re-use study for the Town of Windsor and State of Vermont to convert 870 acres of surplus land within a 945-acre tract of land housing the Southeast State Correction Facility into a protected, but working, landscape. The Study team recommended permaculture agriculture, forest and wildlife management, and active and passive recreational uses under the oversight of a community not-for-profit.

This four-story, eight-unit contemporary building of two-bedroom flats in Hanover, New Hampshire, is part of the 120-unit mixed-income community near Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
